Around the Fire

Lord, as we come together in Purpose this night,

As we celebrate that which binds us, together, to You,

We pray that the fire-lit faces of our brethren,

Writ with the lines of brotherhood and struggle,

Will ever give us strength in the face of our enemies.

Around the Fire, Lord, tonight we become one,

One in our training to serve in the shadows of your Creation,

One in our testing to prove our worth by the measure of the Prophet,

And one through our sharing of blood and tale.

Around the Fire, Lord, we become more than we are,

Our frailties complimented by the strengths of our brethren,

Our duty to Purpose supplemented by the faith of our brethren,

And our own faith cemented by the bonds between us all.

Around the fire, Lord, tonight we are as humble wolves;

Yet we are a Pack, and together we Hunt for Your Glory.
