Priest: Lord, have mercy on this creature, *insert name of the possessed*. Assistants: Lord, have mercy.

P: Lord, have mercy.

All: Lord, have mercy.

P: God, the Father in heaven. All: Have mercy.

P: God, the Son, Redeemer of the world. All: Have mercy.

P: God, the Holy Spirit. All: Have mercy.

P: Holy Trinity, one God.

All: Have mercy.

P: Saint Longinus, Saint Monachus, Saint Daniel, Saint Adira, Saint Gilad, Saint Maron, Saint Pazit, Saint Vahishtael, and Saint Amoniel - watch over us. All: And guide our faith to the ends of purpose.

P: We, your faithful damned, beg you to hear us, O' Lord. All: We beg of You.

P: And in your name, we lay our hands upon this creature, plagued by spirits not his/her own. All: With Your blessing, we cast it out.

P: Let us pray.

God, whose nature is unknowable and great, accept our prayer that this servant of yours, bound by the fetters of sin, may be pardoned by your loving kindness.

Holy Lord, almighty Father, everlasting God and Father Jesus Christ, who once and for all consigned that fallen and apostate tyrant to the flames of hell,

who sent your only-begotten Son into the world to crush that fallen angel; hasten to our call for help and snatch from ruination and from the clutches of the noonday devil this human being/damned creature made in your image and likeness.

Strike terror, Lord, into the beast now laying waste your vineyard. Fill your servants with courage to fight manfully against that reprobate dragon, lest he despise those who put their trust in you, and say with Pharaoh of old:

"I know not God, nor will I set Israel free." Let your mighty hand cast him out of your servant,

(The name of the person), so he may no longer hold captive this person whom it pleased you to make in your image, and to redeem through your Son/and to give purpose through Longinus; who works to please you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever."

All: Amen.

Then he commands the demon as follows:

"I command you, unclean spirit, whoever you are, along with all your minions now attacking this servant of God, by the mysteries of the incarnation, passion, damnation, and embrace of our Dark Father Longinus, by the descent of the Holy Spirit, by the coming of our Lord for judgment, that you tell me by some sign your name, and the day and hour of your departure.

I command you, moreover, to obey me exactly, I who am a minister of God despite my unworthiness; nor shall you be emboldened to harm in any way this creature of God, or the bystanders, or any of their possessions."

The priest makes the sign of the Spear of Longinus upon his own head, and then upon the possessed.

P: See the spear of Longinus, the spear of Destiny, and know the purpose of my soul. Assistance of the Sanctified Faith (ASF): Sum Sanctus Assistants not of the faith: Praise the Lord

If this does not attain the person freedom from the spirits ailing them, the rite begins again and is repeated.
