Federico, the "Great Cardinal" of Spain from ????-1175, 1897-????.

In 1175, Cardinal Federico entered Torpor to fend off the beast. He divided his See into five equal parts, to be held by his five progeny: Archbishop Santiago, Archbishop Alonso, Archbishop Geraldo, Archbishop Eloisa and Archbishop Ursula. Federico made them promise that they would guide the Lancea Sanctum well, abiding by his wishes and respecting the division of his See.

After a lengthy torpor, Federico woke up and observed the mess his progeny and other Sanctified had made of his once united Spanish See. He made his presence known again in 1897, using his great power to summon all his remaining progeny, as well as Father General Aroex Xaviar Bastian Valario de la Cruz, to his side. He bent his progeny to his will, resumed his title of Cardinal of Spain, and seized all their followers and properties. He took the followers and properties of de la Cruz as well, but spurned de la Cruz's offer of service, citing that one's war with a Crone named Aspasia, saying de la Cruz was now poisoned as a tool for him because of that rivalry. Cardinal Federico banished Aspasia from Spain and de la Cruz left shortly thereafter.
