From the Latin curatus (compare Curator), a curate is a person who is invested with the care, or cure (cura), of souls of a parish.

Curates are those Sanctified leaders who have made a study of leadership in faith and the empowerment of other clergy. Curate is a title used primarily by The Diocesan Dialectic.
