A recent disease within the Lancea Sanctum, the Friedian Heresy ascribes to Sanctified theology whilst discarding certain portions of the Testament, the Inerrant Words of God. With particular regard to the Apostolica Ritae, which is ritae that comes directly from the Testament. The Heresy may yet soon challenge that the Testament of Longinus is devinely insprired at all.

During 2007, a single Sanctified began a downward spiral from previous stalwart of the Faith to dirided Heretic.

Luther Fried, former Deacon to H.E Marcus Cardinal Dirae, began his wayward path simply enough. With the defeat and Torpor of H.E Marcus Cardinal Dirae for “siding with VII”, Deacon Fried tried to claim the title of “Acting-Cardinal” over the North Eastern region of the Americas.

He approached the Curia Cruentus to accept him amongst their number of admired Cardinals, and to perform the Apostoplica Ritae of the Annointing on him so as to be a full extant Cardinal. Every singular Cardinal on that Body expressed that they did not see him as a peer, and that perhaps Greed had rushed Fried into claiming this so eagerly and so early.

The Curia informed Fried that a See exists because the Cardinal is sought to be a guide by other Bishops in the area... of which Fried was not. The Cardinalship of a See does not exist as a position to be “stepped into” should it be vacated by the previous Cardinal.

Fundamentally, Fried was told that a Cardinal makes the See, and not the other way around.

Unable to take the rejection to his egomaniacal plans – Luther Fried simply began claiming the full title of “Cardinal” over the North Eastern United States, despite being rebuked by Bishops in the area.

When his claim was finally rebuked by other Cardinals, and patiently explained to him the nature of Apostolica Ritae, Fried simply chose ignorance and continued disregard the Testament. Several Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops and Priests had public and private missive with him to convince him of the errors he was making – yet he arrogantly pushed aside all advice - Entranced by the implications of being a Cardinal.

Fried lost began to lose touch with reality and his mind. Luther adapted a skewed understanding of the Testament of Longinus, and delusions of power combined with a paranoia of grand schemes to take that away drove him towards Hubris.

Finally, after its patience had worn thin, the Covenant spoke by bring Luther Fried standing down from *respected* to *valued*. Yet, instead of listening to that, he continued his claim of Cardinal with madness and hypocrisy. Claiming conspiracies by a Theocracy were victimising him. Truly, it was Luther victimising himself.

He continued with his rejection of parts of the Testament, and guided others to do likewise against his imaginary protagonist of the Theocracy. He began rejecting Ecclesiastic Ritae by refusing Recontre. His disregard for the Covenant was growing worse and worse.

The Lancea Sanctum of Terra Australis had seen enough, and declared him and his philosophy to be Heresy in the first degree, so named the Friedian Heresy. Soon to follow, the Americas held a Synod to discuss the serious issue that faced them, and they too declared “the Friedan Doctorine” to be Heresy.

The Covenants patience had worn out.

Now a recluse in his own domain, Luther hides from the Lancea Sanctum… refusing to leave the domain for fear of death. He preaches that he is a righteous predator for God and fears nothing, yet when called to demonstrate this he does nothing but hide. Yet he still continues to try and undermine domains and parishes held by other factions to join with his Heresy.

With the whole Lancea Sanctum against him and his Heresy, surely the nights are limited for Luther Fried.
