Fulfilling Our Purpose

Brothers and Sisters,

There are those of you who want to fulfill the purpose God has for you. You want to dedicate your Requiems to him. The problem is, you do not know how!

I too, once had this problem. When I am in need of guidance in doing God’s work, I turn to the texts he has provided for us.

I would like to take you again, to the Book of Genesis. When we were last reading from this book, we saw Adam and Eve ejected from the garden. They are not to be our focus tonight my brethren. Tonight, we will turn instead to their children.

Cain and Abel were both taught to honour God. They were taught to give of portion of their work unto him.

Cain, he was a farmer. He tilled the fields, and he grew plants for his consumption. His brother Abel, he was a herder, or a shepherd. He raised animals to partake of. Now it just so happens that both Cain and Abel, they went to make a sacrifice to God at the same time. Now up to this time, we have no knowledge of what God was looking for in a sacrifice.

Cain, he gave unto God a sacrifice of the first and best of his crops.

Abel sacrificed the first young to be born from his herd.

The Lord was pleased by the offering that Abel made, and was displeased by Cain’s.

Now, I do not speak of this, so that you know what to sacrifice unto God. The last sacrifice has already been made. I show you this, so that you can see the parallel. Cain and Abel did not know what sacrifice would be pleasing to God. We know now, because we have read his divinely inspired words.

In that vein, to better understand the purpose God has for us, we need to look to his words. The only source we have for God’s purpose of the Damned is the Testament of Longinus. Therefore, it only makes sense to look there to see how God wants us to fulfill our part of his plan.

I take you now to the Book called the Torments of Longinus. At first, Longinus could not feed from Christians, as their faith in the Lord repulsed him. He literally could not get close enough. After the death of the last of the Apostles of Christ, he found that he could then feed from most mortals, as their faith was no longer as strong. It eventually came to pass that he found a monastery whose monks had become so debased and depraved, it angered him that they called themselves of the faithful.

Using the powers of his blood, powers God gave us specifically to fulfill our roles in his plan, Longinus stalked each of the monks and slew them in such a way that corresponded to each most prominent vice.

Brothers and Sisters, I do not mean to say that you should slay the sinful. Only the ones you truly believe will never turn to God should be meted out this final solution. Instead, I say use the powers that God himself has bestowed upon you. Discover which of the seven deadly sins your prey breaks the most often. Then use the abilities of your blood to take that sin to such a degree in that person, that they lose everything. Does the mortal you wish to drive to God envy his neighbours? Use the power of your blood to raise that neighbour up even higher! Then offer false ways for your target to match him. Make it into an all consuming obsession for him to best his neighbour. Make him use and abuse each and everything he has to try to win this contest, and then fail…with nothing left…no one to turn to, because they are tired of being used, or underappreciated…who then can he turn to, if not God?

Use the Power of the Blood that God has given you! These were given to you to fulfill your purpose!

Do you have the power to speak to animals? Even the family pet can turn against him!

Can you increase the normal senses you were born with? Listen to his conversations, find out what makes him tick!

Do you have the ability to Command mortals? Make him betray his friends, or they betray him!

Can you lure mortals into your confidence? Lure him in, advise him in ways that will make him lose those he holds dear!

Can you make him sense an aura of fear wherever he walks? The paranoid drive away people whether their paranoia is justified or not!

Can you conceal his car keys from him, so that he is late for an important appointment? Do so! It makes him look incompetent!

These I have mentioned are not even the more powerful aspects of our blood that God has seen fit to grace us with. They do not even scratch the surface! The Lord has truly gifted us with that most suited to fulfill the part we are to play in his Divine Plan.

I do hope that this has been enlightening to those of you who needed some guidance in this matter. Please, if you are in need of any further personal guidance on this matter, do not hesitate to ask.

We are now going to sing another hymn, Brothers and Sisters. While we are singing this hymn, if there are any among you who would like to dedicate yourselves to pursuing your own part of God’s Plan, I ask you to come forward at this time.

(Begin hymn;Power of the Blood; if any come forward, detail the Dark Baptism for them, perform it if they are still ready to answer the call, then close with a prayer; If none come forward, proceed to the prayer)

Almighty Lord, We are here today to worship you in your glory, To kneel in the face of the wisdom you have shown us, And to give praise that we can be of service to you. (If any came forward, mention them here, thanking God for helping them to see the path they are to follow) We would also like to give thanks, O Lord, For providing us the means to fulfill our purpose, For giving us the tools to know what that purpose is, So we do not err in ignorance such as Cain did in his sacrifice. Lord, we also note those not among us today. We know, O Lord, That your purpose will be fulfilled through them despite their lack Of Worship, and their lack of Faith. However, we do beseech you Almighty God, that you might open up their hearts to your words, So that they too, may come to follow your path through Faith, Rather than blindly.

In Your Most Holy Name, Amen
