[edit] Public Information

There are a precious few among the Sanctified who pry into the depths of their history; the Monsters of the past are usually left to lay in torpor, Leviathans in the murky depths of Sanctified theology. Some Monsters refuse to lurk quietly beyond the prying eyes of the Damned; they are walking, waking enigmas of the Sin of Longinus. How many dare ask questions of such creatures? How many pry into the secrets of the Saints?

What is known of the waking horror, is that his residence of Dublin is relatively recently acquired, as is his See and Harpyship; Knox has referred to a recent, prolonged torpor that might serve to explain his prolonged silence in Sanctified affairs, but few have dared inquire further. The alien nature of Knox's thoughts are readily apparent to those who attend him, including the servile ghoul Micola ; there are times when others ask if there is anything left of the man, inside the Monster. Those who spend time in his company describe Knox as detached-- whether from reality, sanity, or from being a sociable companion, the opinion varies. He has a strong and well-known affinity for stoning criminals and for the partnership between the First and Second Estates. It is a whispered concern among the Damned of Ireland that he may have to prey upon them for sustenance, though none will admit submitting to his fangs. For his part Knox makes no contention about his status as a predator-- and no commentary upon his prey.
