Knights of the Holy Flame
From LanceaSanctum
“Only through the purity of flame can you truly be cleansed”
Conner Asthea has been a long time member of the Sanctified. As one of the Damned, he takes on the role of the Predator unlike most other Damned. The role of the Sanctified in the world is to return the meek to the path of the holy by showing them what true fear is. It is in this, that he developed his blood lineage. He and his several childer have developed the terrifying Nightmare power to show the true horrors of the world.
When dealing with other Damned, Conner and childer are less than forgiving. They have been known to destroy the Damned outright, or torture them in inhumane acts. Their curse of the Bloodline truly shows when they act in such ways.
Conner’s childer are all members of the Lancea Sanctum, most of which converted when he did, others after the embrace. They all (save one) are fanatical as he in the Monachal Creed, though some of which are less well known than Conner, they all are something to be feared.
Parent Clan: Gangrel
Covenant: Lancea Sanctum
Nickname: Knights (or the derogatory Sociopaths)
Disciplines: Animalism, Resilience, Protean and Nightmare
Appearance: All Knights are different in style. They do not dress or appear any differently than any other Gangrel.
Haven: Most Knights, like Conner, enjoy dark, well concealed locations that they may use Haven of Soil within (perhaps even the Devotion Haven of Nightmares).
Character Creation: The Knights are well known for their martial prowess as well as being exceedingly intimidating and frightening. Focusing mostly on the Physical aspects and augmenting them with a very intimidating demeanor to keep potential opponents thinking twice before entering into combat with one. Strength, Dexterity, Wits and Stamina are all traits worth purchasing for a Knight’s Attributes, while the normal combat related skills while also having dots in Intimidation (perhaps specialties in torture).
Weakness: Knights all suffer the normal effects of being a Gangrel. On top of that, all members of the Knights suffer an additional -1 on all non intimidation challenges when dealing with mortals for every humanity they have below 7. For example, a Knight has humanity 5, the social roll for fast talking a police officer would normally be a 5. While in this case, it would be a 3 due to the -2 to the roll. This weakness can reduce a dice pool below 1 making the roll a chance roll.
