[edit] Reputation

- She was annointed during the Grand Opening of the Noviciate in Halen by Cardinal de Béthune and Cardinal Mackenzie DuMont.
[edit] Trivia
- She was one of the rising stars in the covenant prior to the events that led to her torpor in the 1920's. She was well on her way to be annointed as bishop of Limburg.
- Laurence was a very good listener. This and her calm demeanor and genuine concern in the well-being of other Kindred, has led some of the Kindred of Limburg to turn to her to find solace and guidance.
- The family de Villenfagne de Vogelsanck was (and still is) a family of Belgian nobility that owns a great deal of property in Zolder and Zonhoven. They bear the title of barons of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.
- She was the first of the three Bishops in Belgium to be annointed.
[edit] Rumours
- She held the Vinculum over the other members of the Lancea Sanctum in Limburg.
- Laurence was just the puppet of Marcel Vanerum, who was still the actual leader of the covenant.
- She was the Childe of Monseigneur Jean-Baptiste Charles de Béthune or maybe of Prince de Mérode of Domain Limburg.
- She was the Sire of Père Salvius of the Lancea Sanctum in Leuven and/or Xavier Berkmans of the Invictus in Limburg.
- Prior to her Embrace she led a life of terrible debauchery and sin.
- Behind her cute exterior resided a viciously cruel and cunning mind.
- She had a wardrobe bigger than the entire Elysium of Limburg.
- Because she had a somewhat liberal clothing style the first time she appeared at Elysium, she's nicknamed Monseigneur Cleavage. (Those hicks in Limburg just aren't used to much, are they?)
- She and her loyal bodyguard Marcel Vanerum went missing on november 28, 2006.
- She has been killed by the childe of Takeda Kyuzo for ordering Marcel Vanerum to wound her sire.
- Marcel Vanerum and Laurence had found proof that Ektor and Cardinal de Béthune were Livians. For this reason Marcel and Laurence were murdered by Ektor.
- Laurence still leads the Sanctified from the Shadows, together with her Invictus allies she staged the recent attacks against the Circle of the Crone to make sure that the Lancea Sanctum could return to Limburg unchallenged.
- Laurence was diablerised by Marcel Vanerum.
[edit] Others about Laurence de Villenfagne de Vogelsanck
- Marcel Vanerum: "D'r zijn nie veel Verwanten die mich kalm krijgen as ich kwaad ben, ma zij straalt zo'n rust uit da iedereen haar gewoon graag heeft. En haar woorden kalmeren mich." (Translation: "Not many Kindred can calm me when I'm angry, but she just has an aura of calm that makes everyone like her. And her words calm me down.")
- Lucas Desmet: She's kind, sometimes I fear too kind. However, she has the ability to swallow her pride when the situation calls for it.
- Helena van Kruysberghe of the Ordo Dracul of Limburg: "Shrouded in so many secrets. She might seem sugary sweet, but do not let appearances deceive you. My advice: Approach with caution."
- Alexandria of the Circle of the Crone of Limburg: "Although she was nice and polite every time we talked I've got the feeling there's more to her than meets the eye. You know what they say about calm waters ..."
- Gerhardt Thielemann of the Circle of the Crone of Limburg: "The barons of Raeren always considered her barony as a worthy ally. She herself has only given me more reason to continue this view. Her only flaw is leaving noone remotely capable to fill her shoes."
- Bert Stassen of the Circle of the Crone Limburg: "The dead bishop. I've never met her and know almost nothing of her. But what intrigues me is that even the members of my covenant speak highly of her and seem to grieve her loss. She must have been quite a woman."
