Longinus
Lord of Purgatory, turn
Call me to the promised land;
Here I hunger, here I burn:
Stretch me forth thy gentle hand!

[edit] About The Church
- Halen Seminar
- The major creed in Domain Limburg is the Monachal Creed
[edit] Known Facts
- When Prince de Mérode first set up his court, there were no Sanctified present in Limburg. Recently the Sanctified have been reinforcing their presence in Limburg.
- The Sanctified of Limburg have great support from the Lancea Sanctum in Leuven.
- The Lancea Sanctum have recently started a seminar and noviciate in Limburg with the support of Prince de Mérode.
- Domain Limburg does not consider itself to be part of a greater Domain of the Low Countries. They do work together with the other Domains of the Low Countries though.

[edit] Feeding Grounds in Limburg
- Prince de Mérode has claimed Hasselt, the capital of Limburg for himself as his personal feeding grounds.
- Feeding grounds in Limburg are divide by clans, not by covenant, by decree of Prince de Mérode.
- The Nosferatu and Daeva were barely present when Prince de Mérode claimed praxis. For that reason they didn't receive feeding grounds of their own, but had to strike deals with respectively the Gangrel and the Mekhet.
- Since the division of the feeding grounds many new Daeva and Nosferatu emerged and tensions about the arrangement started to arise. Especially the Daeva seem to have trouble with the current arrangements. This culminated in a heated argument between Daeva Priscus Mikhaïl Petrovitch and the Court of the Domain. In the end Petrovitch was forced to apologise to the Prince and his Court. After the departure of Mikaïl Petrovitch the new Daeva priscus Takeda Kyuzo managed to establish a new division of Feeding Grounds.
- Voeren has not been claimed as part of Domain Limburg.
- The deal the Lancea Sanctum has for the supply of blood to their seminar is quite unique (see Halen Seminar: the perpetual bloodflow).
[edit] Other Covenants
- The Carthians are non-existant in Domain Limburg. One Carthian showed up when Prince de Mérode declared the independence of Limburg. Nothing was heard from her since.
- The Invictus rule Limburg completely unopposed. The other covenants even seem to welcome the rule of the First Estate, as it takes the burden of ruling the Domain off their shoulders.
- The Ordo Dracul used to be one of the larger, more influential covenants in Limburg. However infighting within the covenant has held them back a bit and now only few Dragons are left in the Domain.
- The Circle of the Crone needed time to establish order in the covenant. Machinations from both the Invictus and the Ordo Dracul kept them busy. Disagreements over the direction and religion of the coven caused further internal struggles. Recently they have united under the leadership of Alexandria Karuna. She and the headstrong Gerhardt Thielemann have found a balance in leading the covenant. Currently the Circle of the Crone have found a new balance after Lady Karuna left the Domain and Lady Els Swennen took over leadership of this covenant.
- What few unaligned live in Limburg usually end up leaving the Domain or joining one of the covenants.

[edit] Rumours
- The Sanctified of Domain Limburg are far too close with the Ordo Dracul and the Circle of the Crone.
- The Sanctified of Domain Limburg have infiltrated the Ordo Dracul, the Circle of the Crone and the Invictus.
- Prince de Mérode hates the Sanctified and he tries to show that at every opportunity.
- Prince de Mérode tries to treat all covenants equally, but like most Invictus he's a believer of the Testament of Longinus. That's why the Lancea Sanctum have been favoured above the other covenants with the arrangements for the seminar in Halen.
- The Lancea Sanctum and Circle of the Crone of Limburg work so closely together, because they are a cult of Livians.
- Voeren has not been claimed as part of Domain Limburg to avoid trouble with whoever or whatever rules Liège.
- The Invictus systematically eliminate all Carthians and all Unaligned that don't leave or join another Covenant.
- When Prince de Mérode first declared the independence of Limburg as Domain, he chose a Lancea Sanctum Primogen. However this primogen didn't show up at the first Elysium and was never heard from since.
- Prince de Mérode is going mad the same way Prince de Sénancourt did.
- When you talk to him about the Low Countries as one Domain, Prince de Mérode is known to throw a hissy fit.
- Former Prince of Vlaams Brabant, who still claims the title of Prince Ab Haram of the United Arabian Emirates, now resides in Limburg, despite the fact that he was ordered by Cardinal de Béthune under life-boon to leave the Low Countries. Prince de Mérode states that Limburg is not part of the Low Countries and therefor Prince Ab Haram has every right to remain within the Domain.
- The contract between the Court of Limburg and the Lancea Sanctum concerning Halen Seminar was never actually signed. A fact that the both parties seem to forget for the time being.
