Mackenzie DuMont, Cardinal of the Lancea Sanctum, former member of the Curia Cruentus Mackenzie is thought to be an extended member of the de la Cruz bloodline of the Daeva, though if she is a member of the bloodline (or even Daeva), remains uncertain. Some believe her to possibly be a Luminarian, or even the childe of Tiernan Callaghan. Most recent rumors have linked her to be the childe of the late Alder Prince Cadeyrn.

She is one of the more notable members of the Lancea Sanctum, having been involved with the uncovering of several rituals and holy artifacts. She has been responsible for leading groups of the Sanctified on quests to obtain sacred and holy items, and also credited with assisting with the spread of knowledge to all Sanctified worthy to learn and understand the secrets of Longinus and the angel Amoniel. To the Lancea Sanctum, she is somewhat of an Enigma, often ranging from an insane sorceress to an unholy Cardinal who rains destruction down on cities.

It is known that she has mastered an intimidating number of Dark Miracles, and it's been said that she holds the secrets to unknown rituals. It is also known that she was formerly a member of the Exotheist Creed and converted to Monachal. To those outside of the Covenant, she is known as the Dark Sorceress of the Lancea Sanctum, as many fear what may happen if they cross the Sorceress...and even fewer others may remember her as La Muerta.

It is fairly well known that Mackenzie spent a great deal of time as a legate, choosing to travel, as she had once done as a mortal, and early as a vampire - for her, old habits did not die...even now she has often been seen in the Courts of Brisbane, or elsewhere overseas. She has been quite well known for several decades, having spent time traveling and teaching others - being one of the foremost masters of the Theban Miracles. In modern times, Mackenzie has been noted as "Mackenzie the Just", for her efforts at bringing together several countries together under one banner for the Lancea Sanctum. She has also been one of the founders of the Atlantic Second Estate, a group of Sanctified who are dedicated to working with the First Estate to uphold the Social Contract and the Divine Right of Rule.

Mackenzie has become a teacher, a mentor, a student and an ally - promoting the word of Longinus to all who wish to hear, and opening the doors of her sermons and Masses to all Covenants - believing that all hold a purpose within God's Holy Plan. Mackenzie is known to be linked with Aroex Bastian de la Cruz, another notable figure of the Lancea Sanctum, as well as a former student to both Tiernan Callaghan and Abidan of Canberra.

• 1708: Father Dies, sent to Convent in Ireland - St. Patricks in the Armagh Archdiocese
• 1710: Step Father decides to commit Marie to the Cloth, Meets Gabriel O'Bannon (Gets kicked out of Convent because of Gabriel). Meets Magdelena.
• 1711 : Is sent to Father Ivan Ciccone and leaves for Haiti (Ghouled). Kincaid first meets Marie and watches over her
• 1714: Escapes from Haiti, Flees to New Orleans. Meets up with Jean-Baptiste Gialotti.
