  • Nadia was woken from 'The Long Sleep' in March 2005 after 175 years.
  • Not much is known of her before that time as she herself doesn't remember anything. What she knows now is what has been recorded (presumably by herself) on pieces of paper that were in a wooden box that was kept by the Van Ryen estate where she was kept all that time. Nadia decided, after exploring other possibilities, to believe what is written there.
  • Following that rule she asked and recieved permission to study the chronicles where she recognised her own handwriting. She re-applied for the position of Chronicler with the Antwerp Lancea on this discovery.
  • After a test of Faith, Courage and Skills she was re-accepted as a Paladin of the Virgin Mary. But she asked if this could be kept silent for Kindred Comunity since she doesn't 'look' like a fighter and the initial surprise might be just the advantage she needs.
  • Since the long absence of Bishop Killpatrick (Acting Bishop of Antwerp) she has taken the role of Spokesperson (ad interim) for the Lancea Antverpiae. A title she willingly gave up when he returned (annointed Bishop) in Februari 2007.
  • As of January 2007 she has taken upon her the responsibilities as Primogen.
  • Nadia begins to develop herself as one of those few Lancea who actively occupy themselves with politics.
  • Took resposibility for her Family as Priscus in May 2008 after the death of Lodewijck De Witte.

  • Joel Versmissen and Bishop Killpatrick disappear. Nadia Borremans becomes the leader of the Sanctified of Antwerp. Bishop de Villenfagne de Vogelsanck and Marcel Vanerum disappear. Lucas Desmet becomes acting bishop in Limburg. And these two new leaders seem to get along quite well. Coincidence?
  • Nadia must have a very 'interesting' history. Why else would she have been kept in torpor for 175 years? What crimes did she commit? Even now she often flinches when she sees her own Bishop, Bishop Salvius or Cardinal de Béthune.
  • The question should not be 'Why was she kept in torpor for so long' the question should be 'Why did they wake her up NOW?'.
  • Nadia seems to be a problemmagnet, she always gets into trouble.
  • Nadia was under investigation by Father Killpatrick because she is a member of the Paladins of the Virgin Mary untill Archbishop Killlpatrick found the order in line with the Lancea Sanctum dogmma.
  • Rumor has it that she has Embraced a Child sometime in the past.
  • Nadia often has panic attacks and blames herself for being a coward. This might be related to Reverend Right...
  • The last couple of months people have only seen Nadia at Elysia and even then in company of either her Bishop or his Child, the Inquisitor.
  • Upon becoming a Lay-Deacon Nadia seems more at ease with her ecclesiastical superiors. They seem to have let her of the leash... a bit. She walks without her watchdogs around her... sometimes...
  • It seems that her penitence is over now...
  • If you would count the days she spends in her own Haven and the Pit you still have many unaccounted for. Where does she dwell on those days?
  • As a true Shadow she follows Exarch Killpatrick. But who holds the strings?...

  • After the remberence service of Reverend Right, where she had to perform the ritual 'Scraping off the Sin', she has a huge scar on her right cheek, but she refuses any explanation about it to non-Lancea.
  • Willingly gave up the titel of 'Spokesperson (ad interim) for the Lancea Antverpiae' when Father Killpatrick came out of seclusion.
  • Is always polite towards acting Bishop Lucas Desmet of Limburg and mostly calls him by his title, but when the situation becomes more dangerous she is the one to give the orders (mostly along the lines of 'Lucas, Come!) and she expects those orders to be obeyed. So far she hasn't been wrong...
  • Looked confident enough at the trials where, due to the advice of the Primogen (of which she is one), one member of her own Clan was executed and another Kindred was given in custody with the Gangrel Primogen to learn 'manners' ("If that convict survives 3 weeks he's half way there" was said and not many Kindred believe he will).
  • But, later that same gathering she was summoned before her Bishop and afterwards she looked very subdued and didn't look anybody in the eye. Then she followed him when he left.
  • For the moment Nadia resides at The Pit.
  • Resides in her own Haven again, but often goes back to the Pit and even stays there during the day. But now she has a room instead of the cell were she rested before.
  • Was stabbed in the back by Marquis Herzet because, according to him, she was 'in the way'. (He now owes the Lancea Antverpiae a major boon for that 'crime')
  • Not welcome in Washington D.C. (is welcome again since 14 januari 2008)
  • Has asked Archbishop Killpatrick to become a Patron of the Paladins of the Virgin Mary and he agreed to take that burden.
  • Will be anointed soon.
  • Has been anointed Deacon on 13 December 2007.
  • Considers December 28 a special date.
  • Is the only Lancea in the Domain of Antwerp now that Archbishop Killpatrick has been put in torpor for the next 50 years.
  • Nadia is very busy lobbying to gain enough support to undo the unjust torporisation of her Archbishop.
  • The scar on her sheek was gone after the Week Of Denial in 2008.
  • The restriction on only learning non-combattant Theban Miracles has been lifted.
  • Exarch Killpatrick anointed her as a Priest on 6 june 2008 but under condition that she would still serve him as his Deacon and deal with his correspondence.
