The Order of the Martyred Lady of the Lance is a society within the Lancea Sanctum. This order was formed in remembrance of St. Pazit, one of the five original disciples of the Monachus. St. Pazit sacrificed herself to secure the safe passage of the Spear of Destiny.

Magdalena, a Nosferatu of the Lancea Sanctum, started the Order of the Martyred Lady of the Lance in 1775, when she saw a need to keep a concise record of the information regarding the covenant. Magdalena saw that there were few written records kept regarding the decisions made by and for the Lancea Sanctum, particularly in regards to the covenant's relics and rituals. She started trying to consolidate and copy the records she knew to be held by many different vampires and employed various Legates to gather the information she wanted to preserve. Magdalena also noticed that the Legates themselves did not have much of a support structure to assist them in their duties while they were on the road. Most Sanctified welcomed a Legate, but provided little else for them. Many of those who had hosted Legates also did not seem to know how to best provide for them. Magdalena realized an order could satisfy these needs, and she decided to offer it to the female vampires of the covenant as a way to foster sisterhood.

Primary:

  • Keep the records of the Lancea Sanctum.
  • Share the knowledge with those Sanctified that ask.
  • Protect the secrets and relics of the Lancea Sanctum.
  • Help those in need of research and preserve knowledge that might be lost.
  • Provide for Legates and traveling Sanctified by obtaining food, feeding grounds, and other necessities.

Minor:

  • Promote sisterhood among the women of the Lancea Sanctum.
  • To provide training for the women of the Lancea Sanctum.
