St. Daniel, Patron of Savages
From LanceaSanctum
Oh God of Saint Daniel, Black Miracle Warrior,
We pray to you this night for strength and surety.
We bring to you our blood, sluggish against the Mircles as was our Saint's,
And beg of you the clarity he found to overcome it.
We pray for the will to overcome, like the Avenger of Legions,
Yet also do we pray for the grace to seek understanding
Of our limitations themselves, and the strengths hidden within them.
Lord of Saint Daniel, hear our prayer.
Like the Sanctified Summoner of the very Sky's protection,
Help us to master the raging Beasts within us,
That we may better stalk the Beasts of sin that are our prey.
We pray for the fierce righteousness that he knew,
Even on our last Night, as did he know his own Holy Will.
We seek the courage to face down ourselves and our own sin,
That we may speak with compassion, and not hypocrisy,
To the betterment of our brethren through purging of their sins.
Lord of Saint Daniel, know our prayer.
Most Venerated Patron of Savages on the Dark Path,
We humbly ask you to pray for us and guide us as you will,
As we bring our own primal blood to bear
Upon the Purpose of our continued existence,
And as we bring the primal power of our Miraculous will
Down upon the enemies of the Sacred Spear of Longinus.
Saint Daniel, be our prayer and our strength.
Through the teachings of Longunus, we pray,
Sum Sanctus!
"I have long found Saint Daniel's trouble with the Miracles discovered at Thebes rather comforting, for my own blood resists such efforts of the mind as well. And his warrior spirit, passed down to us through the ages, makes me truly believe my clan has a patron among our Saints." - Ghoren, Sanctified Gangrel, member of the Wolves of Golgotha, for which pack this prayer was written.
