Ancient Testament of Longinus
This ancient testament of Longinus was given as a gift during an exstensive pilgramage of the sites of historical signifigance for the Lancea Sanctum. This book, although old, appears sturdy and new as if the ink had just dried. The text is sporadic but the message is clear, as this is one of the first "completed" copies of the core text. It inspires its user with the faith that has survived persecution nearly to extinction. Even in the face of death by the bane of all Kindred, fire, it aides the holder to stand firm in his beliefs. It also inspires temperance as the first saints had, to appeal to even their enemies to show them their place in creation. The calm and nerve required to appeal to even the most bestial or heritical creature, at least once, eminates from this Testament that he may remain composed in such critical circumstances.

This Testament is currently carried by Rygellion, the Archbishop of Japan. He presents it to pilgrams and prospective converts alike, that they may witness the longevity of the testament firsthand and read the words written so long ago by one of the Lance's first protectors.
