The Curate's Oath

This oath is administered during the Annointing of Pastors whose dedication to their work and to that of their fellows earns them recognition as a Curate.

I swear, upon the trust of my congregation,
That their growth in the Testament,
And better understanding of their Purpose,
Shall ever guide my actions as their Bishop.

I swear, upon the strength of my congregation,
That humility will guide me when I must seek answers for them beyond myself,
And that I will provide what aid and guidance I can to Sanctified leaders elsewhere,
For the solidarity and strength of the Church everywhere.
