The Knights of Golgotha were formed after the creation of the Luminarians as an order to find, secure and protect the many artifacts of the Lancea Sanctum. Their members hail from all manner of orders but predominantly from the Knights Templar where it is rumored their structure comes from and the Vampiric group known as the Luminarians, a bloodline amongst the Deava. Though in these, the later nights, there numbers come from any stalwart and faithful background and even some that would not be thought of as such. They continue on as they have always in their night to night duties.

The the Devote or members of the Knights of Golgotha an extremly loyal group to one another as well as to the persuit and protection of all things sacred to the Lancea Sanctum. While they are not and should not be considered a military force they are known to go to any length to obtain a artifact or the such.

The Current Members of the Knights of Golgotha are kept very secret and ICly are only known to each other and high ranking members of the Lancea and their allies
[edit] The Seraphim
The Seraphim is the supreme authority of the Order of Golgotha and take orders from none save those in the Office of Cardinal unless it deals with a diocese with a current Archbishop or Bishop in which respecting the nineth cannon they will defer to them. Once elected to the office, the Seraphim serve for the remainder of his Requiem. In several cases this lifetime is cut short. Several Seraphim have been killed in battle, showing that the position may be far more than an administrative one.
While each country had its own Dominion, the Seraphim are above each of them. In addition to overseeing military operations, the Seraphim are also responsible for the business dealings of the Order.)

The Dominion is the right hand man to the Seraphim and in modern terms would be similar to a vice president of a corporation. The Aeons also act as a consigliore or advisor to the Seraphim and look after a great deal of the administrative duties.

The Exousiai of the Order is the Knight in charge of war and anything related to it. In this sense the Exousiai could be viewed as the second most important member of the Order after the Seraphim.

These Knights are responsible for the Night-to-Night operations of the various havens under their care. As well they have largely been responsible for managing revenue and recruiting new men to the Order.

Archangels had to be men of vampiric blood and wear a black and gold mantle or in moder nights something of that color combination that is the most familiar garment of the Order.

Angels do not have to be of vampiric blood but must be a ghoul and to show their lower station, angels wear a red or brown mantle.

The Allies of the Knights of Golgotha strech far and wide rumors are they go through all levels of Kindred and Human aspects

The Knighthood was started by a member of the Luminarians and a member of the knights templar
